*I AM* GIRLS‎ > ‎

Group Leader and Yoga Instructor

I am pleased to welcome two very dynamic and gifted women into the positions of Group Leader and Yoga Instructor:

Group Leader Erin has a background in both the Holistic Health and the Psychology fields, and comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Psychology degree and a diploma in Holistic Health from Grant MacEwan University.  This training along with her varied paid and volunteer experiences with people of all ages, her background in group facilitation, and her excellent interpersonal skills make her perfect to lead the “I AM” girls program. This fall Erin is back in school working on her Masters in Counseling Psychology.

Here is what people who know Erin are saying:

“Erin puts her all into everything.”

  “She’s wonderful!”

“She will sit and listen, and put a smile on your face.”

  “Very friendly.”

  “Caring and outgoing.”

  “She brightens my day.”

Yoga Instructor Liisa is trained in Hatha yoga and certified with the Yoga Association of Alberta.  She brings a lot of fun and variety to her classes and enjoys teaching different styles of yoga incorporating chanting, mudra, pranayama and meditation into each class.  Liisa is a Reiki Master/Teacher trained in Usui, Tibetan and Karuna Reiki, along with Level 1 CranioSacral Therapy Training with the Upledger Institute, and iREST training with Richard Miller.  Her six years of experience teaching yoga, along with her interest in wholistic health make her a great fit for the “I AM” girls program.

Here is what Liisa’s yoga students are saying:

“This is what I envisioned yoga would be like!”

“Body is feeling better, looking forward to the next session.”

  “Great class!”

“Wow!  That was an amazing class.”
